  • Do you not understand a letter / decision or do you need help filling in a form?

  • I have high costs and I cannot make it out of my benefits, what should I continue?

    Are you struggling with your current income? You may be entitled to extra money from a minimum income scheme or special assistance. Look for this on the Avres website.

  • Which allowances can I apply for and when?

    Do you have a low income? Then it is often difficult to make ends meet. At Avres you may be able to request extra money. We call these minimum schemes. These are available for chronic illness or disability and sports and culture. Look here for all surcharges.

  • I have received a decision, what does that mean?

    A decision is a decision that has been made about your situation. This can be an approval or rejection of a request or request. You may have applied for benefits or a minimum scheme. Every situation is different. This means that every decision is different. Do you need help to understand the decision? Please contact us.

  • Do you disagree with a decision / decision?

    You may disagree with a decision made. Then you can object. You then write a letter in which you say that you do not agree and give reasons for this. Do you want help with this? Then you can contact us. We will then think along with you.

  • Are you in a difficult situation? For example because you have debts or problems with parenting?

    When you are in a difficult situation, it can be nice to talk to someone from the Social Team. The Social Team is a group of people from different organizations (social work, debt counseling, etc.) who work together to give people a helping hand in difficult situations. This is free. You can contact the Social Team via the websites of the various municipalities (Molenlanden, Vijfheerenlanden and Gorinchem.

  • My contact and I do not match. What can I do?

    Are you not satisfied or are you experiencing a problem dealing with an Avres employee and are you unable to resolve it together? Then you can contact the confidential advisor. That is Ria de Die of Het LSR (National Support Center for Participation).

  • Can I do voluntary work in addition to my benefit and receive a volunteer allowance?

    Thank you for wanting to be socially involved by doing volunteer work. Always indicate this to your contact person from Avres. They will look with you to see if this is possible for the organization you have in mind. This also applies to the reimbursement.

  • Can I also provide input myself?

    Yes, the client council meets every second Tuesday of the month, except in July and August. You can attend these meetings of the client council. The public area is from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
